Credentials
Julie was appointed to the office of Designated Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church on July 5, 2018. What began as a simple request to celebrate a friend’s marriage, quickly became a calling to obtain her certification to work with couples and families.
Her goal was to provide friendship and support to those who were looking for spiritual blessings for their Life Celebrations. Julie is happy, approachable, fluently bilingual in French and English, and enjoys making connections with people. She instantly strikes you as; professional, dedicated, and confident.
Julie undertook and completed her training, graduatuating from the Canadian Ministers Institute – April 2021.
Giving back to her Community
One of Julie’s passions is the support of youth sports. Having a son who is actively involved in sports has made her more aware of the importance of supporting youth in the development of their leadership and team building skills.
She looks forward each year to help with the popular Department of National Defence (DND) charities such as La Course de L’Armée (The Army Run) and the Navy Bike ride.
She is also part of a committee for another great cause she believes in is ‘Women in Support Environment (WISE)’. This organization works toward the betterment of women, helping and encouraging the inclusion, connection, development and support of women in Canada.
