Ordination
Rev John has been with the Church as a Designated Minister since January, 2008. Contributing to My Community
Rev John organized a multi-faith delegation to The Parliament of World Religions in November 2018. He is currently the advisor for the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board’s Faith Community Advisory Committee (FCAC), providing them with insights & information on Holy Days, practices, and cultural significance of the church in their catchment area.
Giving Back
Simply by being involved and accessible for his neighbourhood, his faith community, and his city through direct involvement: “Like dropping pebbles in the pool of Life – each positive effort creates ripples / “circles of kindness, or motivation, or community-building” which reach farther than we know, interconnect with others’ circles, to serve the greater purpose.” One example of this is assisting to create the GEM Awards at Prince of Wales, for those who shine and excel in other ways than in school sports or academics.
John is the Community Lead for the Neighbourhood Action Strategy (a resident-led group which speaks to the City of Hamilton on area events/project and community involvement).
He was previously the Vice-Chair for School Council, Treasurer for the Home & School Association, and the one of the Parent Involvement Committee representatives at Prince of Wales Elementary.

Closing Words
“I want to thank Clergy Support Memorial Church for the opportunity to represent them in Hamilton and the GTA; along with providing me with another way to serve my faith community. Every couple that I have had the pleasure of officiating their wedding, bringing them joy & support, also brings joy and add to my own well-being.”
