The Clergy Support Memorial Church Board was in full agreement in certifying the Rev Stacey Davidson to the Office of Appointed Designated Minister on December 12, 2024, with her ministry focus on Spiritual Support. Rev Davidson’s leadership experience and community involvement demonstrated she has the necessary skills and is well suited for outreach clergy duties. By opening a safe space for others, she has provided hope and solidarity to those who feel alone, treating everyone with care and understanding.
A bit about Rev Stacey
Rev Stacey is outgoing, caring and intuitive. She creates a welcoming and positive attitude wherever she goes. Drawing on her faith, her personal experience in daily life and her intuition helps her find and offer solutions to others.
Her approach to her service to others has always been what she terms as a “first-time right” approach. It’s a quality management concept focused on completing tasks correctly on the first attempt, thereby eliminating the need for corrections and enhancing overall quality. Sounds easy, but it takes a certain set of skills to make it happen. Rev Stacey has those skills.
Stacey realized she wanted to spend more time volunteering and being with people whom she could help in some way or guide them to their goals. She currently volunteers on the fund raising committee at the Amherstburg House Youth Centre. Stacey is also involved in spiritual outreach within her community, and is working with some amazing women to help lift up and support other women to see their full potential. Stacey credits her retirement as the catalyst that made her realize she could do anything she set her mind to AND get it done. She was free to create her own path which ultimately led her to outreach ministry.
Joining Clergy Support allowed her to expand part of her ministry focus to include religious or spiritual Life Celebrations such as Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals. Since obtaining her credentials, she has helped to guide couples and families through some of the most unforgettable and spiritually significant ceremonies.
Stacey’s Closing words
“Faith is what you practice, practice what you preach. Be kind and be there for others. When you make a mistake, own it and make peace. Realize what you do impacts others.”
