Pastoral Care Activities

Rev Peter cares deeply about the future and has a sincere calling to make the world a better place. His motto is “to give more of myself then I expect in return”.

One of the many ways he does this is by utilizing his skills in the kitchen. Often volunteering his time to prepare and serve community diners for the Community and Primary Health Care organization and the many seniors they serve. More recently he has been heavily supporting the Rotary Club of Brockville serving several fundraising events.

Rev Peter also makes himself available to perform Life Celebrations, always having been involved in weddings and funerals in some capacity in his youth.

He is very approachable, and he finds the mentoring and counselling of others very rewarding. Peter admits to being almost drawn to tears when he sees someone achieve things normally considered outside of their ability.

Hobbies

Rev Peter loves nothing better than teaching the culinary arts. He is involved in three local theatre groups, Uppity Improv Society, Brockville Operatic Society and the Brockville Theatre Guild. Performing and directing plays a couple of times a year is a healthy distraction and a fun way to channel his creativity.  Travel is also another important interest as Rev Peter as he believes it the best way to learn about different people and places, and the history that has helped to shape our world.
