The Clergy Support Memorial Church was in full agreement to certify the Rev Jessica Blair to the office of Appointed Designated Minister- Counselling Ministry in October of 2023. Pastoral Care 

Rev. Jessica has dedicated her career to supporting others, working with diverse populations including the economically disadvantaged, those struggling with addictions, and individuals with severe mental health conditions. Her approach is holistic, integrating various therapeutic models to provide comprehensive care. She aims to focus her counselling work on racialized, marginalized, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, or even a passing stranger on the street. She cares for the people that need it most. 

Personal Growth 

Jessica is committed to continuous personal growth. Her journey from working in various social service agencies to starting her private psychotherapy practice in 2023 reflects her dedication to learning and adapting to better serve her clients. She engages in ongoing professional development to enhance her skills and effectiveness. 

Spiritual Dimension 

Jessica’s spirituality has been a significant aspect of her life. Raised Anglican and participating in Pentecostal churches during her youth, her spiritual journey has evolved. She finds her spiritual expression through acts of compassion and care, maintaining a deep connection to a higher power. Jessica believes in the inherent goodwill in people and strives to embody kindness in her daily life. 

Hobbies 

Jessica enjoys staying active through soccer, playing in adult leagues. She loves spending time in nature, going on hikes with her children, and finding beauty in unbeaten paths. Her favorite activity is spending quality time with her children, playing, and listening to them.
