Clergy Support Memorial Church Launches Micro-Grant Program
Members can apply for a grant to support their project/ministry
OTTAWA — Clergy Support counts among its members clergy from many different backgrounds and experiences who take part in an incredible variety of amazing activities and projects. The church has always been a regular donor to charities — both local and international.
Moving forward, we have decided to focus more of that charity on the causes and projects where our clergy are active.
Clergy may apply for $250, $500, or $1000 to support a particular outreach or pastoral project that is of special interest to them.
Application must be made in writing and cover the architecture of the project, timeline and budget (if applicable), and the scope of the project’s impact. It can be an existing project or program, where the clergy member is a regular participant or a new ministry or program. It can be an ongoing project or a one-time event. If it is a one-time event, the Clergy Support grant does not need to represent the total budget – partnerships are welcome.
Submissions should be a maximum of 1500 words. The deadline for application is April 30, 2019. Selections will be made by the Church board by the end of May 2019.
