Worship and Community Work
Erin is an active congregant with her local church and her community, and an Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church. She is an accomplished Lay Minister, having served as a reader at St. Boniface Church. She had the opportunity to serve as a Children’s Liturgy program director, a Sunday School teacher and Educator. From 2007-2022 Erin served on the St Boniface Elementary School Advisory Council.
Her dedication is apparent. For 21 years, she served at the Camp Bimini United Church in several roles Program Director, Camp Director and as the Christian Education Director.
Erin’s commitment to her community is evident through her active organization and leadership roles in various local groups, like the Zurich Minor Hockey committee. Her dedication to serving others is also reflected in her volunteer work at her children’s schools and serving as an organizer for kids’ sports. Erin’s warmth and willingness to help make her an asset to any community she serves.
Personal Growth
Erin is continuously seeking personal growth and self-improvement. She sets annual goals for herself, such as reading a certain number of books or learning new skills like quilting. Erin regularly takes recertification courses for her job, including first aid and CPR, and enjoys learning new techniques and technologies, valuing the knowledge they provide.
Her recent impactful read, “Lessons in Chemistry,” has deepened her respect for the women who have broken gender barriers. Erin’s spiritual journey is deeply personal, grounded in her Christian faith, yet open to various forms of spirituality. She believes in expressing spirituality through actions such as caring for others and teaching at Sunday school.
