A word about Rev Scott

Rev. Scott was a radio broadcaster from 1974-1997 giving him his experience in public speaking and strong communication skills. Scott and his family live in Victoria Harbour on the shores of Georgian Bay. He is a strong supporter of the community and to this day is recognized and respected for his contributions. Scott was elected to Tay Township Council in 1997 and elected Mayor of Tay Township in 2006. Having served and being engaged in his community for so many years, he felt a calling to continue to provide pastoral care.

He and his family are active in the Church community across the Tay Township. He often draws strength from his faith to assist him in dealing with the stress and challenge of day to day life.

Scott feels fortunate to have operated several youth programs across the Township, volunteering to coach youth in minor baseball and football from 1985 to 2007. He supports the Canadian Cancer Society, and volunteers as a driver to help transport cancer patients to their treatments and other appointments.

All of his professional experience has equipped him to be a compassionate and effective minister.
